GUWAHATI: “After the success of all the clauses of Bodo Peace Accord, separate Bodoland state will be formed automatically,” said Bodoland Territorial Council Chief Hagrama Mohilary.
Attending a felicitation ceremony of NDFB(S) leaders at Patgaon in Kokrajhar district today, Mohilary reiterated the issue of separate Bodoland state.
Earlier Hagrama Mohilary criticised All Bodo Students’ Union leadership for compromising with its demand of separate Bodoland state.
In the mega felicitation ceremony, NDFB(S) leaders B. Sawraigra, BR Ferenga, G Bidai and G. Batha were given hero’s welcome by over two thousand cadres of the outfit and local people. The NDFB(S) leaders were welcomed with a procession of traditional Bodo music and dance. Tens of thousands attended the felicitation ceremony.
On the other hand, 2800 NDFB(S) cadres will lay down arms at a function to be held in Kokrajhar on February 7.
