GUWAHATI, Jan 19: An all-round team performance helped the Men in Blue India beat Australia by 7 wickets in the third and series-deciding final one-dayer in Bengaluru to clinch the three-match ODI series 2-1.
Chasing 287 runs for victory, vice-captain Rohit Sharma and skipper Virat Kohli led from the front as the hosts reacted the target with 15 balls to spare.

Rohit slammed his 29th ODI century making 119 (128) while Virat scored a 91-ball 89. Shreyas Iyer, who remained unbeaten on 44 (35), and Manish Pandey (8* from 4 balls) finished off things for the hosts.

Earlier in the afternoon, Australia posted 286 for 9 in 50 overs after Aaron Finch won the toss and opted to bat first.
Steve Smith notched up his 9th century in limited overs cricket making 131 runs. Marnus Labuschange made 54.
Mohammad Shami was the pick of the Indian bowlers as he returned with figures of 4/63 in 10 overs.
While Rohit Sharma was named Player of the Match, Virat Kohli was named Player of the Series.
