According to reports, the accused, Rahul Kumar Singh, who is the Station Master at Kendukona Railway Station, stabbed his wife Anjali Singh to death inside their home. The couple’s two young children witnessed the entire incident and screamed for help. Their terrified cries woke up the house owner, who rushed to the flat and immediately informed the police.
By the time police arrived, Rahul had already escaped. He reportedly jumped over a locked gate and ran away before anyone could stop him.
Police have now launched a full investigation into the case. The motive behind the brutal murder is still unclear. Authorities have also started a manhunt to trace Rahul, who is currently absconding.
