In a shocking and violent incident from Mumbai’s Wadala East, a man was attacked with sword-like weapon after a fight over a love relationship. The video of the incident, which happened in full public view, has gone viral and left people stunned.
The accused has been identified as Junaid Munnu Khan, also known as Chena, who is from Titwala in Thane district. He reportedly confronted another man named Shahrukh and accused him of having a relationship with a woman he was close to. According to eyewitnesses, Junaid angrily asked, “Are you sleeping with my woman?” before suddenly launching a brutal attack.
Before anyone could react, Junaid swung the weapon multiple times at Shahrukh, hitting him on the neck, face, arm, and back. The assault happened so quickly that bystanders were too shocked to step in. Some people tried to stop it from a distance but couldn’t get close enough in time.
Local residents quickly informed the police. Officers from the Wadala TT Police Station arrived at the spot and took Shahrukh to a hospital. His injuries are serious, and he is currently in critical condition.
Junaid later surrendered himself to the police. He has been arrested and charged under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Maharashtra Police Act, and Criminal Law Amendment Act.
Police are still investigating the full story behind this attack and questioning Junaid for more details. The entire area is in shock after witnessing such violence in broad daylight, and many are demanding strict action against the accused.
