One of Bollywood’s most awaited films, Ramayana Part 1, has wrapped up the shoot. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Ravi Dubey as Laxman. After months of intense shooting, late Monday night marked an emotional end to the first leg of this mythological epic.

The atmosphere on set was full of feelings as Nitesh Tiwari officially called “cut” on the final shot. Ranbir and Ravi, both visibly moved, hugged each other tightly, sharing a heartfelt moment that showed the bond they built during this journey. Soon after, the cast and crew gathered for a small cake-cutting celebration.

Ranbir Kapoor, who had transformed himself physically for this iconic role, was seen interacting warmly with the team. He even gave a short but touching speech, thanking everyone who worked hard behind the scenes. The director too shared a few emotional words, which were met with cheers and applause from the team.

Even though there’s been a lot of buzz with leaked videos and pictures from the sets, the makers have not yet released any official glimpses from the film. Fans across the country are eagerly waiting for the first teaser or trailer. From the larger-than-life sets to the powerful performances, Ramayana is shaping up to be a truly grand cinematic experience.

The film’s casting has also been a major point of excitement. Along with Ranbir and Ravi, the movie stars Sai Pallavi as Sita and Kannada superstar Yash in the role of Ravana. With such a strong cast, expectations are sky-high.

After wrapping up the film, Ranbir Kapoor didn’t waste any time. He was spotted at Mumbai airport with wife Alia Bhatt and their daughter Raha, heading for a short family vacation. It looks like he’s taking a well-deserved break before jumping into his next big projects, including Love and War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, co-starring Alia and Vicky Kaushal.

The mythological epic Ramayana – Part 1 is scheduled to hit the big screens around Diwali 2026, followed by Part 2 in Diwali 2027. The makers have made it clear that they’re not just making a film — they’re building a timeless story for generations to come.

With emotions running high, top performances lined up, and a grand vision in place, Ramayana is all set to become one of the biggest cinematic events in Indian film history. Fans can’t wait to witness this magical tale on the big screen.
