Novak Djokovic has won 24 Grand Slam titles so far and a victory at Wimbledon could give him the record 25th title
Tennis great Novak Djokovic has said that Wimbledon could be the “best chance” to win a record 25th Grand Slam title while also claiming that he wants to continue playing for “several more years”.
The Serbian legend who has won 24 Grand Slam titles acknowledged that Wimbledon may be his best shot at claiming a record 25th title — more than any player in history.
Djokovic, now 38, and at the fag end of his professional career, has lifted seven titles at SW19.
Speaking before his opening round game at the All England Club, Djokovic said he cannot predict if this Wimbledon will be his final one, but said he remains determined to “chase more glory” and that he hasn’t lost his hunger to add more titles to his kitty.
The Serb, tennis afficionados would acknowledge, hasn’t won a major since the 2023 US Open although he reached the semi-finals at both the Australian Open and French Open 2025.
And as fans and followers keep on speculating whether the upcoming major could be his last one, they also see it as the best platform where the tennis great could go on and script history winning his 25th Grand Slam title.
