Pride East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. CMD Riniki Bhuyan Sharma has filed a criminal defamation case against Congress leader and Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress (APMC) president Mira Borthakur Goswami after she levelled baseless allegations against Sharma of collecting donations from religious sites, including the Kamakhya Devalaya and the Mahamrityunjay Temple of Nagaon.
“I have filed a case against her, and she will have to appear before the court on July 18 to prove her claims. The allegations are absolutely baseless and I will fight till the end to get justice,” she stated.
