Shocking! Mother Kills her son over affair with School Principal

PUBLISHED:

Mother Kills her son: A shocking and heartbreaking case has come to light from Bihar’s Patna district, where a mother has been arrested for the murder of her 12-year-old son. The woman, Roma Kumari, aged 32, is a government teacher recruited through BPSC and is now at the centre of a disturbing crime that has stunned the state.

The incident took place on June 14. Roma’s young son, Shreyansh, reportedly objected to her ongoing extramarital relationship with a school principal named Nirmal Paswan. According to police, when the boy protested against the affair, Roma lost control and allegedly beat him so severely that he died. What followed next was even more horrific.

Rural SP of Patna, Vikram Sihag, shared that after the tragic death, Roma and her lover Nirmal tried to hide the crime. They took the child’s lifeless body to Bedhna village and dumped it in the bushes near Konhar bridge. To destroy any evidence, they set the body on fire.

The charred remains were discovered by Barh police the next day, on June 15. After an investigation, Roma was arrested from Araria on June 19. Nirmal, who is the principal of a Primary Teachers’ Training College in Rohtas, is currently absconding and is being searched by police.

It is being said that Roma and Nirmal met during a training programme at the college. Roma’s personal life had been going through serious problems, and her children were reportedly not happy with her frequent visits to Nirmal. The situation had become tense at home, especially for Shreyansh, who had started speaking up against it.

The brutal killing of a child by his own mother, someone who is also a teacher, has left everyone shaken. Locals and social media users are expressing deep sorrow and anger over how a trusted figure in society could commit such a horrifying act. The case raises serious questions about emotional instability, domestic issues, and lack of support systems in such family breakdowns.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing. Police are doing their best to locate Nirmal Paswan and bring him to justice. Authorities have also said that more details will be revealed as the probe continues.

This painful incident reminds us that even those in respected roles, like teachers, can fall into darkness when personal issues spiral out of control. And it’s often the innocent children who suffer the most.
