The much-awaited Assam TET Result 2025 has finally been declared by the Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam. After months of preparation and nervous anticipation, thousands of candidates who appeared for the Graduate Teacher (GT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) exams can now check their results online. This year’s Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test was held on 19 January 2025, and the results are now available on the official website.
Over 9,700 Vacancies in Focus
The recruitment was held for a total of 9,717 teaching posts across Assam, including 8,230 vacancies for Graduate Teachers in Arts, Science, Hindi, and Sanskrit, and 1,487 vacancies for Post Graduate Teachers. The examination was OMR-based and conducted in several districts such as Kamrup, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Sonitpur, and others.
Assam TET Result 2025 Declared, What’s Next?
For those who have cleared the exam and have been shortlisted, the next step is document verification. Admit cards for the verification round will reflect the total marks obtained, including weightage marks. Other candidates can download their mark sheets directly from the portal. Both the Admit Card and Marksheet are available from 11:00 AM on 23 June 2025.

Steps to Check Assam TET Result 2025 Online
- Visit the official DSE Assam website: https://madhyamik.assam.gov.in
- Scroll to the “Important Web Links” section.
- Click on the relevant Assam TET Result link.
- Enter your Application Number and Password.
- Click the Login button.
- Your result and marksheet will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a print for future use.
What About the Merit List?
The merit list will be prepared on a 1:1 ratio basis, meaning the number of selected candidates will match the number of vacancies. However, if any vacancies remain unfilled, up to two additional merit lists may be released. Subject-wise separate merit lists will be generated, especially for PGT positions. This ensures that selection is transparent and based on individual subject performance.
