PM Modi interacted with soldiers at the Adampur airbase, puncturing lies pedalled by Pakistan of destroying the S-400 air defence system at the airbase

PM Modi visits Adampur airbase, interacts with soldiers: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday punctured Pakistan’s lies by visiting the Adampur airbase where he interacted with the soldiers.

Adampur is among the air force stations Pakistan attempted to attack after Operation Sindoor and had even falsely claimed that hypersonic missiles fired from Pakistani fighter jets had destroyed India’s S-400 air defence system in the Adampur airbase, a charge that was rejected by Indian officials.

PM Modi countered Pakistan’s claim by sharing a photograph of him making a salute with the S-400 missile stacked in the background.

“Earlier this morning, I went to AFS Adampur and met our brave air warriors and soldiers. It was a very special experience to be with those who epitomise courage, determination and fearlessness. India is eternally grateful to our armed forces for everything they do for our nation,” PM Modi wrote on ‘X’.

Prime Minister Modi had on Monday, in his first address to the nation after Operation Sindoor, praised the Armed forces for their resolve in dismantling the terror launchpads and foiling subsequent attacks by the Pakistani military on India, including attacks on strategic military locations and airbases, which were effectively repelled.
