Posters of Pakistani actors Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan & Mawra Hocane removed from Bollywood posters: As relations between India and Pakistan reach a new low after the Pahalgam terror attack and the subsequent Operation Sindoor, posters of Pakistan actors such as Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Mawra Hocane have been erased from Bollywood posters on musical apps like Spotify and YouTube Music for their anti-India stand.
The move comes amid heightened political tensions following the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack and India’s retaliatory Operation Sindoor.
Mahira, known for her role in the 2017 film Raees opposite Shah Rukh Khan, has been edited out of the movie’s poster that now shows Shah Rukh Khan alone.

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has also been removed from the poster of the the song ‘Buddhu Sa Mann’ from the movie Kapoor & Sons in which he had played the lead role alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.

The video has also been made unavailable for Indian users on YouTube.
Anybody searching for the song on YouTube in India will come across this message: “Video unavailable. The uploader has not made this video available in your country.”
The ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ actor has also been removed from the promotional images of the movie and from apps like Spotify and YouTube Music.
Similarly, Pakistani actor Mawra Hocane has also been removed from Sanam Teri Kasam’s music covers on streaming apps.

The Association of Indian Cinema and TV Workers (AICWA), meanwhile, has strongly condemned Pakistani actors Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan for their anti-India statements and reaffirmed the ban they had imposed on Pakistani artists working in India.
Pakistani actors, including Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, had condemned Operation Sindoor and criticised the Indian government for launching attacks on the terror launchpads operating out of Pakistan.
