Small plane crashes into southern California neighborhood: In another aviation disaster in the United States, a small plane crashed into the backyard of a residential neighborhood in southern California killing two people.
“There were two passengers in the aircraft, both of whom were fatally injured in the accident,” the county fire department wrote on ‘X’.
Both the dead were onboard the single-engine aircraft that crashed into two houses in Simi Valley, northwest of Los Angeles.
Locals posted photos on social media, showing smoke coming out of homes.
The incident took place around 1:51 PM near the 200 block of High Meadow Street, reports stated.
