The sketches of 3 terrorists involved in the Pahalgam terror attack were made based on eyewitness accounts and initial probe and intelligence gathering
The sketches of 3 terrorists involved in Tuesday’s Pahalgam terror attack have been released. The attack, the worst on civilians in Jammu & Kashmir in recent history, left 26 people — including 25 Hindu tourists —dead.
The three terrorists whose sketches were made based on eyewitness accounts and initial probe and intelligence gathering have been identified as Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha.
All three of them are Pakistanis and used the code names of Moosa, Yunus and Asif, news agency PTI reported, adding that the trio was also involved in terror-related incidents in Poonch.
Four terrorists, including the three who have been identified on the basis of their sketches, had attacked the Hindu tourists, killing 26 of them them from point black range, while three others — including Aadil Guree and Asif Sheikh — provided them support.
The Resistance Front (TRF), a shadow outfit of the banned Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), had earlier claimed responsibility for the attack.
