Actor Sonu Sood’s wife Sonali, her sister Sunita and nephew Siddharth were injured in the accident that took place on Monday night
GUWAHATI, March 26: Actor Sonu Sood‘s wife Sonali who, along with her sister and nephew, was injured after their car met with an accident while travelling from Nagpur airport is now stable and under observation in a private hospital in Nagpur.
The accident took place when Sonali Sood, along with sister Sunita and nephew Siddharth, was traveling from Nagpur airport to Byramji town when their car hit a truck while trying to overtake it.
Sonali’s nephew Siddharth was reportedly at the wheels of the car and rear-ended the truck while trying to overtake it, reports said.
The accident took place around 10 pm on Monday (March 24) and the three of them suffered bruises and abrasions, media reports added.
The trio was rushed to a private hospital in Nagpur where they were kept under observation.
The hospital, in a statement, has now stated that all the three are now stable.
“Mrs. Sonali Sood, her sister and nephew were brought to the Emergency Department of Max Hospital, Nagpur at approximately 10:30 PM last night [on Monday]. They had allegedly been in a road traffic accident. All three patients were conscious upon arrival and had stable vital signs,” the hospital statement stated.
“They had sustained multiple abrasions and bruises and were thoroughly evaluated for any internal injuries, none of which were found. Her nephew was discharged after first aid. Mrs. Sonali Sood and her sister remain under observation and are recovering well. Their condition is stable,” the statement further added.
Sonu Sood later informed his fans and followers about the development.
