GUWAHATI, Feb 26: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to move out of his palatial sea-facing residence Mannat with his family later this year and will move into a luxury flat for Rs 24 lakh/month rent.

The reason why Shah Rukh, also popularly called King Khan, is moving out of his near-iconic bungalow to stay on rent is because he is planning to get a grand renovation done which could begin as early as April or May.

The proposed renovation includes addition of two more floors at the Mannat annexe.

Meanwhile, the luxury apartment into which he and his family are moving into is located in the Pali Hill area of Mumbai and belongs to renowned film producer Vashu Bhagnani.

Reports further said the Bollywood superstar has leased four floors of the building while each floor has one spacious plat each.

Mannat, a sprawling 27,000-square-foot mansion spread across six floors, is now valued at approximately Rs 200 crore. The property had cost him around Rs 13 crore when he had bought it in 2001.
