GUWAHATI, Feb 14: As the Middle east ceasefire hanged by a thread amid accusations of violation of the truce agreement by both Israel and Hamas, the latter has agreed to release three more hostages, including a US national, on Saturday (Feb 15).
The three hostages who are scheduled to be released tomorrow are Russian-Israeli Alexander Troufanov, Argentine-Israeli Yair Horn, and US citizen Sagui Dekel-Chen.
While the Hamas said on Monday that it would indefinitely postpone the release of the three hostages alleging that Israel was violating the ceasefire, Israel threatened to resume bombing if they were not released on time.
Sixteen Israeli and five Thai hostages have been released in exchange for 566 Palestinian prisoners since the ceasefire came into effect on January 19.
