GUWAHATI, Jan 14: Veteran singer and music composer Dwipen Barua will be conferred with News Live’s Lifetime Achievement award for 2024 while eminent writer and journalist Anuradha Sharma Pujaree will be honoured with the Assamese of the Year award for 2024.
The awards will be presented during the 17th anniversary celebrations of your favourite channel which will be held in February this year.
The awards were instituted by News Live, the most watched satellite news and infotainment channel in the Northeast, to honour two eminent personalities every year for their exemplary contributions towards enriching Assamese culture and traditions, literature music, sports, journalism etc.
Past winners include Dr Bhupen Hazarika, Arnab Goswami, Adil Hussain, Zubeen Garg, Angaraag Papon Mahanta, Hima Das and a host of other eminent personalities.
