GUWAHATI, Jan 10: Three persons were injured after they were attacked by a leopard at Philobari in Assam’s Tinsukia district.
A person named Srimanta Gohain was the first to be injured after he was attacked by the leopard while he was on his way to Philobari from Torani.
The same leopard is believed to have then attacked and injured two other persons named Rohin Moran and Purnima Moran.
The injured trio was admitted to hospital.
Meanwhile, people of the locality said they are passing sleepless nights following the incidents of leopards straying into human settlements and attacking and injuring villagers.
