GUWAHATI, Dec 24: Hyderabad police today (Dec 24) questioned actor Allu Arjun for nearly 4 hours in connection with the death of a woman at the Sandhya theatre during the screening of film’s premiere.
The Pushpa 2 star, reports said, reached Chikkadpally police station a little after 11 am and was questioned till 2:45 pm.
He was accompanied by his father Allu Aravind and his lawyers.
Security was increased at Allu Arjun’s residence in Jubilee Hills following the notice sent to him to appear for questioning and also because of the incident of vandalism by a group claiming to be members of Osmania University Joint Action Committee.
A 35-year-old woman named Revathy had died during the stampede-like situation at Sandhya Theatre on December 4 while her nine-year-old son had to be admitted to hospital.
