GUWAHATI, Dec 24: Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule‘ continues to dominate the global box office as it became the fastest Indian movie to cross the Rs 1,500 crore mark globally, reports said.
According to Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 amassed Rs 1,508 crore gross worldwide, surpassing the collections of Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ and establishing itself as the highest Hindi net grosser ever.
It has gone on to rewrite history, becoming India’s highest-grossing film with a domestic total surpassing the Rs 1,031 crore of Baahubali 2 and reaching an estimated Rs 1,048 crore in sixteen days since its release.
Pushpa 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2021’s blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise, had hit theatres across the world on December 5.
The sequel has not only captivated Telugu movie lovers but has also become the most anticipated releases of all time in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam languages belt while also pulling audiences in flocks across Assam as well.
