GUWAHATI, Dec 17: Nikita Singhania, the estranged wife of Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash, who was arrested on charges of abetting his suicide, has categorically dismissed allegations of harassment her former husband had levelled on her.
Nikita, reports stated, claimed during police interrogation that it was Atul who subjected her to harassment.
Atul had in a video alleged that his estranged wife and her family members harassed him which, he claimed, drove him to take such a drastic step.
Nikita Singhania, reports stated, said she had been living separately from her husband for almost three years saying why would she stay away from him had she harassed him for money?
Incidentally, Nikita, her mother Nisha and younger brother Anurag were remanded to 14-day judicial custody after they were flown into Bengaluru and produced in a court.
The Allahabad High Court, meanwhile, granted anticipatory bail to Sushil Singhania, Nikita Singhania’s uncle, who is also an accused in the case.
