GUWAHATI, Dec 2: ’12th Fail’ and ‘The Sabarmati Report’ famed actor Vikrant Massey shocked fans by announcing that he would quit acting. Vikrant, who is only 37, took to Instagram to announce that would step back from acting after 2025 and that “it’s time to recalibrate and go back home”.
“Hello, The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it;s time to recalibrate and go bacj home. As a husband, father & a son. And also as an actor,” Massey wrote.
“So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right,” he further added.
“Last two movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Foreever indebted,” he concluded.
The announcement has left his fans in shock, many of them in disbelief and hoping the actor would change his mind and continue entertaining them for at some more years.
