GUWAHATI, Nov 23: With counting of votes underway in Jharkhand for the 81 assembly constituencies, the JMM-led alliance is ahead in 49 seats while the NDA is leading in 30 seats.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren is leading from Barhait Assembly constituency while his wife Kalpana Soren, a sitting MLA from Gandey, is trailing against BJP’s Muniya Devi.
On the other hand, former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren, who switched allegiance to the BJP, is also leading from Seraikela.
