GUWAHATI, Nov 18: Former Delhi Minister Kailash Gahlot, who had resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) yesterday (Sunday, Nov 17), joined the BJP today.
Gahlot — one of the seniormost Delhi ministers — had quit from his party and from the Delhi cabinet yesterday.
He joined the BJP in the presence of former Haryana Chief Minister and present union minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Gahlot — who held the portfolios of Transport, Administrative Reforms, Information & Technology, and Women & Child Development departments in the Delhi Government — said no pressure was on him to join the BJP and that a false narrative was being spread.
