GUWAHATI, Nov 12: Chain snatchers are on the prowl in Guwahati with another woman falling prey to their activities.
The incident took place in Borbari locality of Guwahati today.
The woman was on her way to drop off her child at school today morning when two youth came on a two-wheeler and snatched the gold chain she was wearing.
The youths then fled in the speeding two-wheeler which was without any registration plate.
The victim has lodged a complaint with Dispur Police and a case has been registered.
The two snatchers are on the run.
