Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun threatens to attack Ram Mandir, devotees hit back

GUWAHATI, Nov 12: Hindu devotees and people in general have hit back at Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun after he threatened to attack Hindu temples, including the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

“Khalistanis have shown their true colours. But we will never allow them to carry out their nefarious designs. The Government is capable enough to prevent any such move,” a devotee said in Guwahati.

“They can show such audacity in Canada where they have the support of the Trudeau government but here in India they can never dare to do such a thing. He (Pannum) is a coward,” said another devotee.

Pannun, the leader of the banned Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) outfit, had in a video statement warned of attacks on temples on Nov 16 and 17.

He further threatened to attack Indian diplomats at Toronto Kalibari Mandir on Nov 16 and at Triveni Mandir on Nov 17, reports stated.

Incidentally, the video was reportedly recorded in Brampton, Canada, where Khalistani activists, including members of the banned SFJ, had attacked devotees at the Hindu Sabha Temple earlier this month

The attack led to widespread condemnation with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau terming the violence “unacceptable” while others expressed shock and dismay over the incident.

The Hindu Canadian Foundation, a non-profit organisation working for the Hindu community in Canada, had shared a video of the attack on the temple in which Khalistani extremists were seen attacking women and children.
