GUWAHATI, Nov 12: A lawyer from Raipur in Chhattisgarh was arrested by Mumbai Police on Tuesday for issuing a death threat to Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan.
The accused, identified as Faizan Khan, had also demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh.
He was arrested from his Raipur residence.
The threat message was received by Bandra Police last week.
Faizan said he had lost his phone on Nov 2 and had lodged a police complaint. He termed the entire development a conspiracy against him.
