GUWAHATI, Nov 7: A Class X student met with a watery grave after he went to cool himself off along with three of his friends at a pond behind the Central Prison in Guwahati’s Garchuck locality.
The deceased student has been identified as Bishal Das, a student of Bethkuchi High School.
The four friends had gone to have a bath at the pond yesterday.
However, the student named Bishal Das got drowned while he stepped into the pond to have a bath.
The other boys informed police about the incident following which his body was fished out of the water body.
