GUWAHATI, Oct 30: Swedish rock band Europe, which will be performing in India for the first time since 1988, is all set to set the stage at the upcoming Me:Gong festival in Meghalaya’s Tura on fire.
The music festival will be a two-day affair beginning on Nov 29.
Apart from Europe, Indian rock band Indus Creed, pop band Euphoria, and actor and DJ-producer Udita Goswami are expected to perform at the upcoming festival.
Europe is known all over the world for songs like “The Final Countdown,” and “Rock The Night” from their 1986 album ‘The Final Countdown’, will look to provide some foot-tapping music, including the hit numbers, at the event.
With Europe last performing in India at Mumbai in 1988, Western music lovers are expected to make a beeline to the Garo Hills on the aforementioned dates to catch their favourite band in live action.
