GUWAHATI, Oct 18: Bollywood actor Tamannah Bhatia on Friday morning visited the Kamakhya Temple perched atop the Nilachal Hills in Guwahati and offered prayers at the famed Shakti shrine.
Tamannah was accompanied by her mother who also offered her prayers before Goddess Kamakhya.
The Bollywood actor was in Guwahati after being summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to appear at its offices in the city. She was subjected to a marathon 8-hour grilling on Thursday in connection with her association with a betting app.
Her alleged links to a digital platform named ‘HPZ Token’, which is accused of defrauding investors by promising lucrative returns through cryptocurrency mining, is being probed by the ED.
