GUWAHATI, Oct 15: The Officer-in-charge and the second officer of Dudhnoi Police Station in Assam’s Goalpara district have been reserve-closed.
Inspector Dandi Ram Bora, the officer-in-charge of Dudhnoi PS, and second officer Aminul Haque have been accused of demanding Rs 5 lakh from a person who was involved in a road accident.
Upon receiving the complaint, the order to reserve-close the two police officers was made by the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Goalpara district Nabaneet Mahanta.
