Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Dilip Saikia has won from Assam’s Darrang-Udalguri seat.
Dilip Saikia, who was up against Congress’ Madhab Rajbangshi, won by a big margin of 3,29,012 votes.
According to the Election Commission of India (ECI) website, Dilip Saikia received a total of 8,68,387 votes. While Congress’ Madhab Rajbangshi secured 5,39,375 votes.
