GUWAHATI, May 29: The Muhurat of upcoming Assamese feature film ‘Kokadeuta Nati Aru Hati -2’, a sequel of the super hit Assamese movie ‘Kokadeuta Nati Aru Hati’ in which Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma played a cameo role as a child artist, was held at Jyoti Chitraban, Guwahati, today.
Planned by Chief Minister Sarma himself, Kokadeuta Nati Aru Hati -2 is being produced under the banner of Pride East Entertainments Private Limited and will be directed by Achinta Shankar.
The cast of the movie includes Jatin Bora, Utpal Das, Preety Kongkona, Yashashree Bhuyan, Kamal Lochan and a host of other actors.
The muhurat was attended by Riniki Bhuyan Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Pride East Entertainments Pvt Ltd, Syed Zarir Hussain, Vice President, Media, Pride East Group, the cast and crew of the movie besides a host of invited guests and dignitaries.
Besides Kampur, the movie will also be shot in many picturesque locations of Thailand along with other locations in Pune and Assam.
