GUWAHATI, Dec 28: A police complaint has been filed against actor Ranbir Kapoor and his family members in Mumbai for allegedly hurting religious sentiments, media reports said.
The case relates to a video, apparently shot by the actor during the family’s annual Christmas party, in which the ‘Animal’ actor is seen saying “Jai Mata Di” after pouring liquor on a cake.
Ranbir was accompanied by wife Alia Bhatt and daughter Raha besides other members of the Kapoor family at their annual Christmas lunch.
The complaint was filed on Wednesday by a person named Sanjay Tiwari at Ghatkopar police station.
No FIR has, however, been registered in the case yet.
