A massive fire broke out at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati on Monday evening.
According to information, the blaze broke out at the pathology unit on the first floor of the old building complex at around 5:30 pm.
No injuries or casualty has been reported at the time of filing this report.
Fire tenders have been dispatched to the scene, sources informed.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and no casualties have been reported.
The fire triggered panic among the patients and their attendants at the hospital.
