A Cycle Expedition was conducted by 48 Assam Naval Unit, NCC in unison with Indian Army on 13th Aug’22 to commemorate 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in conjunction with Puneet Sagar Abhiyan as directed by Govt.of India.
The objective of this cycle expedition is to promote social awareness to keep the surrounding water bodies clean through display of posters and banners in collaboration with Indian Army & Alumni Association Guwahati Group, NCC.
The cycle rally started from NCC Group HQ, Paltan Bazar to Deepor beel. And the flag off to initiate this expedition by Lieutenant Commander Debanand Doley (Commanding Officer) in presence of Raghunath Battalion of Indian Army, Alumni members and cadets.
