Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a youth was found dead near Bangagarh on Wednesday evening in Guwahati.
According to reports, the throat of the youth was found to be slit when his body was recovered from a drain near Nemcare Hospital in the Bhangagarh area. The youth was attacked by a miscreant.
The youth was rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital and pronounced dead.
The deceased has been identified as Bishal Rai.
The police have arrested one Saidul in connection with the murder of Bishal Rai.
Based on the information provided by Saidul, the police have detained a few more persons.
The cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained and the police is investigating the crime.
