Guwahati: UPSC Civil Services Result 2020 has been declared today on official website of UPSC. Ahmed Hasanuzzaman Choudhury, son of Zakir Ahmed Choudhury, an engineering graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia, has brought glory to Assam by securing 283 rank in UPSC Examination 2021.
Ahmed Hasanuzzaman Choudhury is originally from Lakhirbond, Hailakandi, Assam. His father is a retired CGM of AEGCL (ASSAM ELECTRICITY GRID CORPORATION LIMITED).
Touted as one of the toughest examinations Choudhury cleared the Civil services examination in his third attempt.
Choudhury is a mechanical engineer from the faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi.
Choudhury completed his higher secondary education from National Public School, Guwahati in 2012.
After Completing his B-Tech, he ventured into his own e-commerce start-up.
The UPSC announced the final result of the Civil Services Examination, 2020 on Friday. A total of 761candidates – 545 men and 216 women – have been recommended for appointment.
The candidature of 151 candidates is provisional.
The Commission has released the list of candidates who will now join various central services in addition to IAS, IPS and IFS.
Shubham Kumar, B.Tech in civil engineering from IIT Bombay has topped the list while Jagriti Awasthi, a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from MANIT, Bhopal is the topper among the women candidates securing overall 2nd rank.
The top 25 candidates comprise 13 men and 12 women.
