Guwahati: As per media reports, a low-pressure area and an associated cyclonic circulation over west Madhya Pradesh might result in fairly widespread rains across Central India and several other parts. Heavy rains are likely to occur over west Madhya Pradesh, with 50-80 mm daily rainfall on Friday.
Heavy showers might also lash parts of Assam and Meghalaya today as a fresh cyclonic circulation is developing over the north Bay of Bengal. Rainfall is possible over parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and more.
