Guwahati: Flybig Airlines is slated to launch its inaugural flight service between Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lohit district and Guwahati in Assam on August 16, bringing much-needed comfort and respite to airline travelers.
The services will be launched as part of the Indian government’s UDAN initiative, which aims to improve regional connectivity.
Flights between Tezu and Guwahati will be available four times each week.
The launch fares start from Rs 1199 making it possible for a larger number of people to travel by flight.
The flights will be scheduled according to the arrangements that the airline’s business has made with the Meghalaya Transport Corporation, which will begin on August 16. In order to improve connectivity between the northeastern state and the nation’s capital, Delhi Flybig Airlines plans to restart flights between Delhi and Shillong.
