GUWAHATI: Giving a major boost to Assam and NE’s cancer treatment infrastructure, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Radio Therapy Block of State Cancer Institute at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Sunday. Shah also dedicated the newly installed state-of-the-art Linear Accelerator machine at the centre for the people of Assam.
This treatment facility apart from tremendously augmenting state’s fight against cancer and is expected to bring succor to the affected people in the region.
