GUWAHATI: ‘Assam’s Daughter’ Lovlina Borgohain got a bye in the Tokyo Olympics on Thursday.
Boxer Lovlina (69kg) will face Germany’s Nadine Apetz in her opening clash.
The boxer’s pre-quarterfinal match is on July 27.
Lovlina who hails from Golaghat district in Assam is the first woman boxer from the state to qualify for Olympcis.
