GUWAHATI: Herds of wild elephants continue to stray into human settlements in Numaligarh, Assam. According to reports, a herd of wild tuskers has been roaming around in the Letekujan Tea Estate damaging several houses in the area.
The wild elephants on Wednesday night entered the village in search of food and water and created terror among the villagers.
It is to be mentioned that the wild elephants have been creating terror in other tea gardens in the area including the Bogidhola tea estate, Dygroon tea estate and its adjoining areas.
