GUWAHATI: One person lost his life in a head-on collision between a truck and motorcycle at North Salmara in Bongaigaon district on Monday night.
The victim has been identified as Golap Ray whose bike bearing registration number AS 17B 6979 collided with a truck. Ray, a resident of Amtola area died on the spot.
Pillion rider Sanjib Ray who hails from the same area was seriously injured in the accident. He was rushed to a hospital at Bongaigaon.
