Guwahati: As the number of Covid-19 cases rises in Assam, the government has been trying their best to take measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Sarusajai COVID centre where the government has set up with a 400-bed Covid facility.
Dr. Samra also reviewed the treatment facilities and infrastructures of the Sarusajai facility.
Taking to his Twitter, Dr. Sarma wrote, “Isolation and management of #COVID19 patients are key to their faster recovery, as was effectively done last year by our doctors & paramedic teams. We’re again setting up the Sarusajai facility with a 400-bed Covid Care Centre. Visited the site today.”

In another tweet Dr. Sarma mentioned that he also visited the Khanapara COVID care centre where 750-bed temporary hospital including 200-bed ICU is being set-up for treatment of COVID patients.
