GUWAHATI: A 90-year-old woman has administered the COVID-19 vaccine at Lower Mawprem in Shillong on Tuesday.

As of April 28, 2021, Meghalaya has 1475 total active cases, 138 new recoveries, 2(EKH) new deceased, 159 new cases. A total of 14,788 people have recovered and Meghalaya has total of 16,430 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
It is to be mentioned that Meghalaya is heading for a two-week lockdown probably from next week. The state cabinet held a meeting on Wednesday to take a call in this regard and the exact date for lockdown is being announced.
