GUWAHATI: Assam health department has conducted 8988 more COVID-19 tests in Guwahati on Thursday.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “We’ve conducted 8988 more tests today in Guwahati as part of our endeavor to test, & trace #COVID19 patients. Spread in Guwahati is fast, yet we’re trying our best to contain it.”
So far, 428866 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Assam.
Dr. Sarma also appreciated the citizens of Guwahati for their cooperation during the lockdown which has been re-imposed to contain COVID-19 pandemic.
