Seven die after fake cardiologist performs 15 surgeries in Madhya Pradesh, probe launched

GUWAHATI, April 7: Sensation prevails after a fake cardiologist performed 15 heart surgeries in Madhya Pradesh with seven of his ‘patients’ reportedly dying after being operated upon by him, reports have now stated.

A complaint was lodged against the accused, identified as Narendra Yadav, who impersonated a renowned cardiologist from UK, Professor John Camm, to deceive patient.

The accused has been missing after the complaint was lodged.

The deaths were reported at the Mission Hospital in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh between December 2024 and February 2025.

After the news came to light, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) launched an investigation to uncover the truth behind the shocking incident.

A special team has also been formed to investigate the deaths at Mission Hospital, allegedly after being operated by Narendra Yadav.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that he has instructed the State health department to take strict action against the accused.

“Our government is taking strict action…Our government do not delay in taking action against such cases…I have instructed that if there is anyone else like this, the health department should take strict action against them,” news agency ANI quoted him as saying.
