GUWAHATI: A significant dip was recorded in the inoculation numbers, a day after achieving a historic milestone of 88.09 lakh COVID-19 vaccinations.
According to the Union Health Ministry, on Wednesday, 54.24 lakh vaccine doses were administered. To date, 29.46 crore vaccine doses have been administered under the ‘Nationwide Vaccination Drive’.
On the other hand, India reported a total of 50,848 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The active caseload went down to 6,43,194 which is the lowest in the last 82 days. The cumulative recoveries reached 2,89,94,855 including 68,817 new recoveries.
