Karimganj: Altogether 30 Bangladeshis, who had illegally entered the Indian territory, were deported to their country through Karimganj border on Thursday, official sources here said.
These people, including two women, were lodged in various detention camps of the state after they were declared illegal foreigners.
They were handed over to the police and border guards of the neighbouring country, the sources said.
The Bangladesh nationals were apprehended from various parts of Assam at different times after they had entered India without valid travel documents. (PTI)
